Floating lifelessly in the sky,
Sometimes makes me wonder,
How they can be so beautiful,
While I privately ponder,
About the shapes and forms,
Of those quaint little things,
Just nestled in the azure sky,
Watching as the birds sing.
Drifting stealthily through the atmosphere,
Disturbing nothing as they move,
They look soft and white and fluffy,
But to the touch I cannot prove,
The way they feel against my skin,
Unless I take you to the air,
To be among the lifeless clouds,
And to live without a care.
Gentle beasts of many forms,
Like dragons amidst our skies,
Shapeshifting creatures move along,
Letting us see beauty with our eyes,
And calming the soul to set it at ease,
Ignoring the troubling world,
What these wonders have done for us,
Is make our hearts unfurl.
